Toning down the signal from the MAP is easy if it's a 0-5 volt signal (low to high pressure, linear signal), just use a voltage divider... if it's an inverted signal or non linear it obviously gets more difficult. The O2 sensor should be fine the way it is if you use heavier injectors...

but again, I have never done this and people don't do it this way, so either everyone is overthinking things or I am a retard and don't know something I should. I'll stop derailing and spreading confusion now :flipoff2:

So a while back I found a lot of rust (a lot more than I expected) and got pretty discouraged. I decided to just cut off more of the unibody and cut the rust off rather than fix it. I got to work on that today.

Things I've bought recently:
Dana 70 rear
1979 Dana 60 front
4X 2.5 SAW 16" travel air shocks
4X 2.0 SAW 4" travel air bumps
clutch that's good for 300 hp
ebay header that had to be modified to fit (more on that later)

I ran into a lot of rust, as previously mentioned, so I'm cutting more of the back of the cab off. Here is the world's worst cell phone picture of what I cut:

And in the process (oops)

I made a small tool and got the upper kingpins out of the front axle (alone). Whoever whines about that being such a hard job is either a sissy or needs a welder and a torch.

I almost forgot to mention my new worbench :)

I put a Parker 975 on it. This beast weighs 104lbs has 5" wide jaws and opens 8". It's held down by 3x 5/8-11 grade 8 bolts.

My justification on why it was safe: no headliner, no fuel tank, nothing flammable within 1 foot. I got the fire extinguisher right after I snapped the pic.

I didn't plan on using the factory seatbelt anyway...

Fire extinguisher? Pffft, I put all my fires out with my [gloved] hands.

But I found out that my glove had a huge hole in the palm of it when I grabbed my seat belt to put it out

I used an old pair of welding gloves to smother the other side... but this side wasn't goin out by smothering.

What's the deal with the DAna 70s?? Pretty similar to the D60s, right?

Thanks :)

Almost all of them had 35 spline shafts from the factory, bigger ring gears, bearings, and way better clearance than a 14B. And I got mine for $50.

Haha, that's awesome. The only corners I've cut (so far) are my rear quarters
