so for 2008 i was a poor college student so i am goign to get a nice big check back from the goverment. also as many of you know i havent done much with making my yj better(as this past weekend showed an i4>>>>>v8 already) so i have been thinking of things to do. heres my list so far, front and rear lockers probly aussie, do something about getting rid of the vacuum disconnect on the front axle, and sye
figured i needed a sig now that im an admin

Might as well do an 8.8, aussie front and rear and SYE. Why risk the D35?? That way if you eventually want to regear, you wouldn't have to find an axle first. Getting that 8.8 in your YJ would be a piece of cake.

yeah might as well go with the 8.8 or even a 44, i probly wont break anything with that :grin:

only thing is i dont know how to weld so id need someone to setup the perches for me

Bigger bolt pattern. An 8.8 out of am explorer has the same as your front

Dean has one that you could probably make him part with.....since I doubt that he'll ever get to working on his jeep.....4.10s, disc, LS.

If you were going to go with that 44 you'd want to get the matching front so you are same bolt pattern. Also, some scouts came with 19 spline D44s, which although they are still better than a D35, they're not as strong as a 30 spline D44, of course.

Or find some waggy axles, 4.88s....that would be the shit.

Actually, I know a place where I think you could get a matching set of waggy 44s......not sure how much they want though.

ok cool they guy is going to take it out this week and ill pick it up from him next weekend.

looks like im going to need to regear for this, right now the jeep is set up with 4.11s and the guy thinks it is got 3.73" so that wont do. what would be a good ration to bump up to
figured i needed a sig now that im an admin

33's, 4-cyl? I would go with 4.88

I prob wouldn't do 4.88's after the recent probs with them in the d30 front's.
