Anthony is it possible to twin stick it while it's still in the vehicle or do you need to lower it down to do it? I've never seen the hardware up close so I have no idea what it looks like. I'm betting if I take the boots and cover plate off the tranny/tcase I can get at pretty much most of it pretty easily.

I don't plan on taking out that pin and grinding it down when I do mine.

I can tell you that you most likely can not get the bolt holding the stick in place out while its up in the vehicle.

bump is right. and it's a little extra effort to get the shift rail fully out. you have to pull the intermediate shaft and gear, take a bolt out, then you can take the shift rail out.

although... you could drop all of that crap out the bottom of your case because the cover is on the bottom for you.

but twin sticking... maybe?? it would be a huge PITA. it'd be like doing a SYE with it mounted in the vehicle (though not quite that ridiculous). i'd say pull it and do it on a bench. you probably won't lose much time with the installation and removal processes.
