XJ Lift Shackles

I need some shackles in the 1.5-2" lift range. Let me know what you have, where it is and how much you want. I actually need two sets, but if you only have a pair, that's fine.

I've got a pair of RE2700 (i think) lift shackles floating around. They claim about 1.25" of lift, I don't know if that's enough for you then. They could use a set of new bushings that might be around $10 and a quick coat of paint, but otherwise they look decent. How's $45 shipped? I can't meet you anymore since i'm too far away

the shackles are way better than those. i used to have a set of those. those aren't greasable and are 3/16. these are 3/8 and greasable. new, these shackles are like $110...

so $110 + the 145 you found for the shocks = 255 and i'm asking $100 less...

255-180=75, not 100. 255-100=155, I'll give you that. RE lists two pairs of shackles for XJ's. One pair is 1" lift (listed at 1.25") and one is 1.5" (listed at 2"), neither pair is 3/8" thick.

from your links, they are the RE2700's but they are longer than RE2700's... I'll measure them tonight.

they're 6.5" eye to eye and 3/8 thick...

Seriously Anthony, you are being a Jack Ass. I've been trying to get these things from you for two weeks now. Shit or get off the pot! I'm not trying to get a deal because money is tight. The shocks are bottom of the barrel shacks that are new, but trying to get new price is lame. I would have no problem selling you or any other UJ member those same shocks for $100 or less. The shackle is used and I have no idea what it is, I'm going with your word. The skidplate isn't worth anything to me. I can get one from my favorite jy for free, I'd only have to pull it. You can forget the skid if it's an issue for you. I'm only asking about the part number because you say that they're 3-4" shocks and I can't find any skyjackers that come in that range. The numbers I listed are for the 4-5". If you want to sell these parts, let's do it, otherwise let's move on.

I'm sorry you think I'm being unfair. I know it's sometimes custom to give smoking deals on inter-club sales, as I myself have taken part in several as both the buyer and seller. None of that changes the fact that the parts are worth a bit. I agree that trying to get new price is a lame move, which is why I'm not asking for the new price. I didn't realize you needed these parts in somewhat of a rush otherwise I'd have moved a little quicker, sorry.

Does your phone get pictures? I'll send you a pic of the shackle. I just re-measured too. They're definitely 3/8" thick, 6.5" eye to eye, and not boomerang. Maybe they're not RE. Almost seems like more of a TNT design than RE...

I don't text. Joe's hooking me up with two pairs of shackles for less than you wanted for the one. His are 3/8" too! I'm in absolutely no rush at all. I would've paid you and waited months if needed to get the parts. Just wanted to secure the deal and get it over with. Neither of my XJ's are ready for the parts yet. I can get those shocks(hydros) shipped for just about $120, you're asking $120.

Oh yeah, I just came from doing some axle recon at the JY. There's a 99 XJ with all the skids.
