Oh, and velveeta w/ bacon is awesome... but if you have velveeta mac and you have bacon bits you have velveeta w/ bacon, no need to go buy something special. I think I am making whole grain velveeta w/ bacon tonight and some hot italian sausages on the grill.
I don't think it leaked but I did see some 'shine' on the bottom of the housing. May have just been from when it was drained and the oil just stuck to it but I'm not worried about waiting. It's already been sitting for a while (got it back together and have so far installed the shafts and done some cleaning). Will just let it sit around another hour or so and go from there
Alright, cool, I let the D30 sit overnight but wanted to double check for the 9". The Jeep won't be moving for a couple of days so letting it sit for a few hours isn't going to kill me. thanks
oh, and it was a super center walmart... but anywho, does RTV have to cure for a while before filling a diff with fluid or is a short wait before filling OK?
the velveeta mac and cheese w/ bacon came from walmart of all places, $2. Ended up not making it tonight (made normal whole grain velveeta with salsa, hot dogs, and other spices)
And I found velveeta mac and cheese with Bacon. that will be awesome tonight with the kielbasa I have been marinading all night/day in teriyaki and mequite sauces. and the disk brake swap on the 9" did not make pulling the axle shafts any easier, heh
I wanted to be sure I got all the old oil out since it was after the gear break in, so I didn't want to use a pump. Got the gear oil changed all around except I am waiting for my bro to get home and give me a hand lifting the 3rd into place, that bugger's heavy. next time I change the oil I will be using a pump
